Starting point
A café with a point of view, and nothing online that proved it.
Olyv is an all-day café taking root in Hall Green — coffee, brunch, juices, desserts — with a clear brand voice and a growing Instagram following before the doors opened.
What they did not have was a digital home that felt like the place. Generic café templates would have sold the wrong idea: cream backgrounds, latte stock photos, countdown timers. The risk was arriving online as just another brunch spot, instead of a room with taste and intent.

Solution
Make the page the first taste of the place.
We designed and built olyv.co.uk as a one-page pre-opening site where the design is the positioning: scroll is growth, from espresso-dark bark through bud and bloom to the first fruit at the opening date.
The palette is the client's own — brown, pink, and olive worn as ground rather than decoration. Motion is one idea fully spent: a hand-drawn olive branch grows down the margin, blossoms open as you pass, and every section restates the same story. Visitors leave knowing what Olyv will feel like, with a clear path to follow on Instagram, join the waitlist, or apply for the opening team.
Brand-true ground
Four colour chapters (bark, bud, bloom, grove) using Olyv's own brown-and-pink system — not a cream template with flowers pasted on.

One scroll idea
The page grows instead of opens. Branch, bark, blossom, fruit — nothing moves unless it grows the same idea.

The site is live at olyv.co.uk as the step between a feed post and a follow — warm, unhurried, and deliberately short on copy. Space and food photography slots are built in for when the room is ready; until then the craft of the page carries the proof.
Visitors get the brand impression in one scroll, then a clear next step: follow along, leave an email for opening news, or join the team that will open the doors.
